Our team of Trainers are level 3 & 4 personal trainers with over 40 years (collectively) of experience delivering personal training, small group personal training, and large group personal training.

The two Head Trainers in the Body Lab are Grant Gibson (Co-Founder of F45 TRaining West Edinburgh, EX-Scotland Captain, GB international and Professional Player with Basketball) and James Mckeen (Co-Founder of the M12 Project and one of the most revered Personal Trainers in Scotland).

Adding further credibility, Grant and James also teach the level Three Diploma in personal training to aspiring personal trainers all around Scotland and the UK.

The Body Lab is a safe place for you to analyse, set goals and transform your life with world class training, bespoke nutrition plans and the highest level of accountability coaching.

Many people hit a plateau with their training and immediately think a change of scenery is their only way to make changes to their training. Remember, that here at F45 West Edinburgh and the Body Lab, our coaching team leads the Edinburgh Personal Training Academy which teaches people to be Personal Trainers. So why look elsewhere when our team teaches the teachers! Our new – purpose built PT Studio – will be the hub for levelling up your training and learning how to max out your F45.

M12 TRANSFORM PROJECT

  • Customized training sessions tailored for you, conducted in a group of four clients (three sessions per week).
  • A personalized nutrition plan crafted according to your body metrics and goals. We simplify macros/micros, food sequencing, and calorie counts, and our adaptable approach allows us to continuously refine your nutrition plan as your body evolves over the four-week period.
  • A dedicated accountability coach available daily to support you with your nutrition and habits. You’ll have one-on-one check-ins each week to ensure we are consistently adapting and enhancing your strategy to achieve your goals.

Our team of skilled fitness professionals will support you at every stage, offering the guidance, motivation, and accountability necessary to keep you on track and help you reach your objectives. With our established history of success and numerous satisfied clients, you can have confidence that our program will help you achieve the results you desire.

Our M12 recovery program is crafted to help you identify movement issues and tackle any current or lingering challenges that may arise during your training. Through this program, you’ll build muscle, shed body fat, and enhance your overall fitness. We will focus on teaching you how to safely activate your muscles and learn techniques to engage and protect your joints, allowing you to maximize your training both within and outside the program.

  • An individualized nutrition plan customized to your body metrics and goals. We break down the complexities of macros, micros, food sequencing, and calorie counting, while our adaptable approach allows for ongoing adjustments as your body evolves over the four-week period.
  • A committed accountability coach available daily to support you with your nutrition and habits. You will have weekly one-on-one check-ins to ensure we are continually refining and enhancing your strategy to achieve your objectives.
  • As a recovery client, you can access the studio during our open sessions to continue working on the program and coaching points provided by your accountability coach.

M12 HYROX PROJECT

Our M12 HYROX program is meticulously crafted to align with your existing strength and conditioning levels. We develop a personalized strategy that combines training and nutrition, enabling substantial progress in strength, conditioning, VO2 Max, and lactic thresholds through a mix of functional and power strength training. Over the 12-week period leading up to your event, we will concentrate on both training and nutrition, providing guidance on essential adjustments.

  • Tailored training sessions that align with your M12 HYROX program goals, conducted in small groups of four clients (three sessions per week).
  • A personalized nutrition plan aimed at enhancing muscle mass, power, and durability. We’ll closely examine your pre- and post-workout routines, along with your recovery process through nutrition and hydration, to maximize recovery and reduce recovery time.
  • Your coach will be present during sessions to challenge you to reach your limits. However, during recovery periods, your coach will assist you in staying injury-free while improving your flexibility and durability. Expect to be trained like an athlete.
  • HYROX-specific sessions integrated into our F45 schedule, providing an excellent complement to your personal training sessions in the Body Lab.
